Im going to see Reba, Brad Paisley and Terri Clark when they come to Salt Lake in June, got my ticket today. My date last night went well, we watched a movie here and talked. Friday night we are going to the Redwood Drive-In to see a movie (I dont think I have ever been to a drive in), so that should be an interesting experience.

ya I fly in the night of the 3rd, but tickets are spendy and I want time with Connor. But man that concert sounds like fun!

Wow, someone is actually coming to UTAH?!?! Amazing. And I had no idea there was a drive in on Redwood Road...cool. Have fun!

My first date with my now husband was at a Drive in, ironically, was on the property across the street (Now Target/Lowe's). Our first movie was Misery, and it was a summer night and there were thunderstorms. This added to the scary movie. In 1997, we met again, and went to other drive in movies (Jurassic Park (Lost world), and Titanic. I was hugging the steering wheel of the Hyundai Excel when the boat went down. Mark saw that movie with his family a week before going on a family cruise earlier that year. Yikes. Um, so.. drive ins are a special experience. On a warm summer night, you can sit on the hood. And as they used to have squawk boxes, toward te end, you could just turn into a weak Fm station and pick up the movie through your car stereo. lemme know how that goes.
