Utah Wins 2014 Westercon

In an unsurprising result - they were on the only bid on the ballot, and there were no interesting write-ins of the magnitude of last year's election - the bid for Utah in 2014 (Salt Lake City) won the bid for Westercon 67. Details are on the Westercon website.

Hey, just fyi - the link to the utah westercon site doesn't work "The convention’s website is www.utahwestercon.org."

I see what you're saying, but I can't do anything about it. The HTML in the message text is correct, but LiveJournal is inserting "/westercons.livejournal.com/" between "http://" and "www.utahwestercon.org". I don't know why.

They were offering a $5 discount for pre-supporting and voting and only got 75 voters?

76, actually - records show that's how many people registered to vote, but obviously one of them informally abstained by not actually casting a ballot.
