There's also a thread from earlier, but I figured that it won't hurt for us to repost (or post anew). Congrats all around...and fingers crossed for anyone still hanging on a waitlist.

I'm headed off to Berkeley this fall. There's at least one or two other Berkeley acceptees in wgi this year, so I hope that I will see you there!

Toronto has a *fantastic* program. I'm sure that they've told you already, but they place incredibly well. :) Congrats!

I accepted my offer at the University of Pittsburgh! I'm really, really excited! I'll be getting my Ph.D. in their awesome Composition program. :)

I can't wait to see where everyone else is going!

Yea! Good luck with Boston weather :-p I've heard it's a great city, and it definitely is an awesome school.

I've said it before, but I certainly don't mind repeating:

I can't wait!

Congrats. I still remember how ABSURDLY excited you were about the program when we first talked (in December? It was before applications were due, I think).

Oh that's quite cool! I was an undergrad English major there and have friends in the graduate school (though not in English), so feel free to ask me any questions you have about New Haven or Yale if you so desire :-)

Thanks! I visited last month and didn't think New Haven was as neeearly as bad as everyone warned me it would be, so I'm excited.

Nope, it really isn't! I heard the same things and the same jokes, but honestly--it's just a city. You're also fairly close to NYC by train if you start going crazy or want to make a trip out.
