I don't know if this is of interest to anyone other than probably orionsmom, but Billy Joel is coming to Boston for two shows in January (19th and 30th). Tickets went on sale today. I'm going to the show on the 30th, if anyone is interested in also going.

I've been taking Tae Kwon Do again recently. I've been going for about 3 months now, after a four year break. Because I thought it would be fun (among other reasons) I recently agreed to help teach some of the classes. Well, after nine+ months in this temp-to-perm job, I actually did make it to permanent employee. I'd pretty much given up hope on that ever happening. It comes with a moderate (8.7%) raise, decent benefits, clarified/narrower job description, and possibly a move out of cubicleville.
