First of all, I love roller derby. This was so awesome! And their derby names! Blinding Justice? imPale? I was crying from laughter. Absolutely brilliant.

\o/ I was watching City play last week and the comm kept on repeating how Silva was a pivot and Kompany was a blocker and I was like "O.O Roller derby AU... it must happen"

okay, okay, so I still don't really understand this whole roller derby thing, BUT, THIS IS AMAZING AND I LOVED IT (A LOT)!!!

Seriously, I have not laughed this much in a while (Howard Webb having a crush on Nigel, Joe in tears, Samir posing inappropriately with the Eiffel Tower - the whole nude calendar thing, just everything - it was hilarious).

But the little bits of more serious stuff Aleks/Edin (+ Una) I loved it and I may have shrieked a little bit when it ended up with a proposal!

and, AND, Silva and Milner, SILVA AND MILNER, so awesome, I like that Milner's still a little inscrutable to Silva even though they're together and I love that Milner steadies Silva and protects her without really being overbearing about it - just gives support and loves her and, oh my god, I just, I loved it!!

lol I still think it's sad that girl!Milner is easier to write than normal Milner but perhaps someday in the future an actual Silva/Milner can happen.

This was sooooooooooooo good! I havent got a favourite bit but I LOVE the names you came up with for both teams, the Howard Webb reference, the Man Utd mention and Joe as the manager!!!

originally they were supposed to skate the final against the Red Devils but I couldn't think of enough good derby names. Perhaps in the future... lol

Alas, I would pay good money for that calendar too. Maria Balotelli on a pile of speeding tickets and fireworks. Holding a cat. Perfect.
