OH GOSH. YOU MADE ME WANT TO WATCH ROLLER DERBY SO BAD. I always mean to go out and watch my city's team, but I manage to miss out every time :/ I will try harder now that I have your lovely AU bouncing around my head. I loved all the names and characterizations! You! You're just the best!

I've missed out on Rat City Rollergirls last two matches and I'm like 'ugh, must go to the next one'. I'm trying out in the fall and this was just begging to be written.

I'm glad you liked it <3 And ty ty ty for commenting on 3 of my fics in one day. It totally made me a happy camper ^_^

Okay, everything I know about roller derby I learned from Whip It, but I LOVE THIS. I love how closely it mirrors City life, how even the characters with the smallest of cameos is instantly recognisable. Love love love the action scenes, they have such a pulsing excitement to them. The little insights into what drives each character are great too, by turns touching, upsetting, hilarious, believable (OMG MILNER stop being so stoic and awesome....oh gawd you totally captured him/her(??? my pronouns are all confused!) and how she's quietly protective of Silva, but also completely aware that Silvia can be badass all by herself).

The thought of Nigel and Villa facing up to one another is truly terrifying... This, however, is my favourite part, I think:

Apparently she designs cat clothing in her spare time or something.

Y.E.S. YES

Wonderful, wonderful work! Such a great concept and really well executed - thanks so much for sharing this gem!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Thank you! I think they really wrote themselves. I thought it was going to be hard, but once I started writing I was like "omg this and this has to happen and blah blah blah" and it just snowballed into craziness. And not going to lie, I might continue on in this verse when I have some spare time. It's just way too much fun. lol and it's the only way I really feel like I can write Milner >_<

\o/ I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Lol I kept on going back and forth as to whether or not this counted as het or not ^^; And they really did write themselves as girls. It's almost alarming at how easy it was kekekeke
