Some good news for a change. My journalism tutor is very pleased with my progress and provided everything goes well, in May he'll be more than happy to allow me onto the second stage of the teaching programme (which it usually takes two years to do), where instead of writing things for my portfolio that will never be published, I'll be doing

Congratulations, darling. It's high time that one of our own bucked the stereotype of Slytherin females as gold-digging, vapid bints a stereotype that Lilias Moon is doing her VERY best to perpetuate. I'm sure that there will be plenty out there whose heads may explode from not knowing what to think, but you have my congratulations, for whatever that's worth.

Why thankyou, dear. I don't see why this stereotype occurred in the first place, given that we're supposed to be inherently ambitious in some form or another. Stands to reason that this must demonstrate itself in a career form for a large number of us and yet people are always surprised!
