Yeah I have T-Mobile and get the worst reception ever in my home... can't stand the dropped calls, which is why I didn't list the evil empire. Thanks though.
You can run at any temperature with protection. The cold air will feel bad, but not hurt the lungs. After a while you get used to it. The biggest concern is hypothermia. Wear an ear covering hat and gloves.
My biggest problem with the cold is my wanker. All the blood gets funneled to the leg muscles and you don't get adequete circulation in your naughty bits. I have come back from 5 mile runs (20-25 degree temps) and my johnson is purple and cold as ice. I am not ok with that. I am going to invest in some running underwear that provide thermal and wind protection for that.
The things I wouldn't think of... I think I might just look into getting short term gym membership for the really cold months or something. You run mostly indoors in the super cold weather, right?
I do run mostly indoors in the cold, but I am going to want to get outside a bit on sunny days this winter.
I wear a long sleeve under-armor shirt, a long sleeve t shirt, spandex biking shorts, and a pair of double thick warm up pants. I can't run fast in those pants, but they do keep me and my unit warm.
Thin gloves and an ear warmer too. I don't like hats, but they are recommended.
I just switched from crappy T-mobile to verizon and it's Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better! I complained to T-mobile about how many dropped calls I had each day and they said "ah, your problem is that you're trying to use the phone indoors." Um, yeah.
But yes verizon has been much better for me at least. : )
yeah, I heard that in my poll another time too... no service indoors. Verizon solves the 'phone doesn't work inside man-made structures problem' though?
Yep, the verizon works great indoors! I just got my phone last week but I'm really very happy with it. And everyone tells me they can actually hear what I'm saying AND no dropped calls so far. Yay!
I'd love to go to the corn maze but am too scared. Not because it's haunted but because my doc says the baby is coming anytime in the next 10 days so I'm afraid to go out very far. A corn maze might not be the best spot to pick to go into labor, ya know?
I hope you have fun though! Which maze are you going to?
hey :) I didn't really have any answers to your questions except that this Sunday a group of people from my work are heading to Wiard's Orchards in Ypsilanti for the awesome cider and loads of scary stuff to do they have there. :)
