It seems I nearly forgot to make a post of my own with this device. It would be a shame if I had, after allowing it to teach me such a painful lesson last time. I suppose I've felt I've had little to say.

I've never had any particular grievances with the dark, but I won't try to claim that this isn't unsettling. I can't be sure if this is a continuation of yesterday's oddities or not, but I find today far less enjoyable than yesterday. It seems a good deal of people are finding themselves in favorable situations. I've acquired a hand fan from out of seemingly nowhere myself, though I appear to have lost a sheet of paper in the process. Hmm. It seems that one will need to make a post of their own to avoid being shocked by this. This is good to know. I'll take care to avoid neglecting it in the future.

Two weeks seems to be the marker point before this things express their displeasure with your lack of attention. Has anyone else noticed differently?

Hmm. I suppose it would be callous to claim that knowing this sensation is not unique to me comes as a comfort, but in such an unfamiliar environment it's a difficult state of mind to dissuade myself from.

I do hope that everyone else is alright, though.

It's strange that I would be given a foreign device and told to use it, with no explanation as to how I would do so or why I would want to. Advice of any sort, good or bad, is in short supply, of course; I will do as the note says.
