Hey there!

I'm one of the duty managers at a student bar in the town I live in. The general dress code is "uniform shirt with black pants" and finally, now I'm a manager, I'm allowed to wear actual clothes and not the horrible uniform tshirts they make the normal bartenders wear. So I thought I'd jazz it up a wee bit.

i love when people post bitch-ass comments when someone puts together an outfit of a different style than they usually deem as hip. i think you look pretty cool for a student-bar manager and it's a pretty cool way to jazz up your work uniform or whatever, the nasty commenters can go pout at their ballet flats and re-wrap their pashmina scarves and deal with it.

Hurrah for androgyny! :D

Oh, and

I always lol so hard when people wear buttons to show how hip they think they are. Buy a longer shirt.

I don't think badges (buttons, whatever you want to call them) are signs of people trying to show how "hip" they are, so just ignore that person. :P I like them. They're a sign of individuality and whatnot and I think they help to jazz the outfit up a little bit.

The androgyny isn't in the outfit.

"You just look like a high school boy."

I'm pretty sure the OP is female.

Well, you thought SHE was a "HE" .. isn't that definitive of androgyny?

you'd look older (read: your age) without the silly tie and buttons. or chucks. i think it would work quite well if you rocked some shiny dress shoes and a real tie.

I don't think you're rockin' the skinny jeans too well =/

Minus the buttons and chucks (as the above poster said), and with jeans that fit you better, this would be cute.
