I have finally found something (sort of) to snack on without feeling like a monster. Assorted nuts! They are small, cheap, very low in calories, good for you (they are non-salted) and fun to crunch. Too bad they taste like sweaty bollocks. Raisins are included though which sort of (almost) mask the revolting taste. I'm not sure if I stop snacking ( Read more... )

Today I went to The Painting of Modern Life, an exhibition at the Hayward Gallery. It was very good (apart from the manky Daivd Hockney paintings...), if somewhat dry, and I urge you all to go and see it. It was all paintings, painted in a photographic style, many of them painted directly from photographs.
