So yeah, its amazing how the world knows when you finally start making money, and then decides to tow your truck to port allen and charge $182 to get back something you already own. Thing was, i only left it alone for like 30 minutes, so those tow trucks are some of the fastest cars around. Generally just a bad ending to a long day.

Haven't updated this in like forever, and just suddenly had the urge to livejournal, sort of like the herbal thing, just electronic...yeah.... Damn people coming in the damn room, making me forget things. Oh, finished with the research program and evidently i did ok because they offered me the job for the rest of the year. Trying to condense three different bosses views on a project together to present a presentation somewhat sucks. They all want me to do different things, and 10 weeks is not a lot of time, research-wise. so now, instead of getting drunk like some of my friends are doing, i'm up all night writing this stupid proposal. sigh, baton rouge's canes has gone the way of the new orlean's ones. now they too gip you a finger from their combos, and then sell it at the same price. I mean, on the scale of other worldly troubles, this is by no means large, but still, it really sucks. ah well.

A lot of times writing papers reminds me of a physics problem, the one where you are pushing a block on a surface. The problem is that there is a huge static frictional coefficient, that is nearly impossible to get over, but once you get it moving, the kinetic coefficient if really low. and that was a really dorky or geeky way of describing that ( Read more... )
