5 eggs

I have five eggs sitting in my fridge that just seem to exemplify my life right now. I ought to turn those five eggs into something good to eat before they go bad (especially since an egg in the original carton broke, so the five eggs are in a cup), but I have neither the time nor the energy. There is cooking and there is baking. My first thought on 5 eggs is - "omelet". Of course my second thought is meringues. Ah... I wish my grandma was here, she makes an awesome batch of meringues, I should get the exact method from her - doesn't take much in terms of ingredients, but you need something to do with all the yolks. Then again, you can use it for some variety of meat in breadcrumbs and then make meringues of the egg whites. Meat and sugar. My two basic food groups.

I hope you made something interesting. Coincidentally, I also employed the egg today. I used 3 eggs to make egg salad (but that didn't work since there was no bread around) and 2 eggs to make egg drop soup. Which makes 5 eggs. How utterly uncanny!
