Buckle Up with The LaCara Crash

Mar 30, 2006 23:52

So today the band I'm in recorded a demo.

We set up everything with the help of the drummers dad and our friend Jordan, and then we recorded 7 songs live over the course of a couple hours. It involved a lot of trial and error but I think it was a worthwhile endeavor.

Please stop by and say what you think. For reals. Honesty here folks.

I think it's wonderful. I downloaded all of it, and I must say that finding that little message from you with a link to it upon waking up made my day a whole lot better.
P.S. I am psyched that you have me in your top 8. :)

Like 'em all but the waltz. Really like the feel of the first two. Awesome job with the cresendo (didn't spell that right). I'd suggest a little more time editing it, but the music was blangin I'd buy it.

Well, we would have more editing, but the way it was recorded, it was all live. Those were full band takes with everything happening at once. If presented with the opportunity to use a real studio thing (we recorded straight to CD), it'd be much more polished. I'm glad you like it thanks.
