There is something about tattoos that I've always found mesmerizing. Tattoo culture has always peaked my interest. The hows, the whys of the tattoos that people get, the stories behind them are so interesting to me and I find myself always wanting to know more. I'm with you on the flaming skulls, naked lady, etc. People who get tattoos like that, to me, are uninspired, unoriginal. If you're going to mark your body with something, make it stand for something, make it something that comes from your heart. At least that's always how I've felt ( ... )

13 years ago. Wow. You would have been so young. I can't imagine how that must have been. I was 26 when my dad passed away and it was hard enough. I'm sorry about your dad too but I'm glad to hear that just like me you're getting through it.

John's lyrics are really what does it for me. I mean the guitar playing is amazing and when you're at a concert even more so but every day, listening to his music I'm definitely all about the lyrics that he rights. I constantly refer to him as a lyrical genius.

Ok... 2011... JM lyric tattoos. Shake on it :) I'm thinking maybe my birthday in February might be a good time to do it.

I was 14 at the time, just starting high school. It was hard, really hard since I was just really starting to grown up but luckily I have a solid support system around me. My grandparents practically took us in.

it's the lyrics for me too! I was actually JUST talking to a friend and I said to her "I love this man's brain" hahhaha but it's true and not only the lyrics. He's so intelligent and I just find that so sexy.

2011 JM tattoo's it is! I was actually thinking of getting mine for my birthday in April! so that's perfect! lol.

I am so itching to get my tattoo but every time I set my mind to doing it, something comes up.
I will do it one day though!
Then we can compare notes :)
