I just like theater, thus Iron Chef and What Not To Wear, for example, pull my chain - or at least nibble on it. The interactions of W-N-T-W are fun, sometimes problematic, often compassionate, and (the inland MS viewpoint again) not bad for the eyes.
Now, MY closet - even worse since Katrina. Mostly it's well worn black jeans and pull-overs. At work, I keep a suit on the hook on the back of the door and a good pair of shoes under the desk. It IS a cathedral, after all. But the boiler room and belfry are awfully dusty.

What I wear has to be able to go from housecleaning to yardwork to the washer and dryer and then back again. It must be comfortable and it must be in colors I like. That's my one feminine vanity: My clothes must be in colors I like! Unfortunately I'm more likely to find those colors in the men's tshirt/gym shorts department than in the women's department. I've always liked the rich deep shades of red, green, purple, blue, brown, and gray. Pale heathered gray or cream is as close as I come to wearing pastel colors. I have warned my Hubby that he better not bury me in anything pastel-colored or I will haint him rattling chains and scaring cats every night for the rest of his life!

Stacy of Stacy and Clinton of WNTW comes in with some saturated coolors and generous amts. of fabric.
Cutting up roots with a mattock or repairing the roof calls for a men's cut, I'll concede.
