I think that you did a really good job with your characterization. It took me a minute to figure out how it worked, but it was consistent and that's what made it work.

yeah, their characterization was the biggest stepping stone in this for me. i'm glad it came okay for you.
you're welcome! thank you for reading. there should be one more part and i have a lot of stuff i had to cut out that i might post as ficlets within the same verse or something like that? i'm not sure.
re: gd's hair -- when i say mohican i mean this hair. um, i can't remember where i heard the term used for it, it may be translated that way in korean? but when i got into fandom that's how i continuously saw gd's hair referred to. sorry if that was confusing or if the terminology isn't correct. D:

seriously, this is so good. i loved part 1 and this just takes it to another level. there are so many layers and tensions and it's handled so well without it ever feeling trite or over-the-top or not "real" or cobbled together. imo, you write the best seunghyun in fandom, but i thought you did a really good job with gd here. and as always your attention to detail, gd's mohawk, top's cracked laugh, makes everthing that much more "real".
i wanted a happy ending because i'm super-sappy like that but this is good too. it fits somehow for where they're at and there's just enough hope in the last line to make me believe they'll get to the rainbows-and-unicorns ending (knowing them, it'll mostly be wine and versace, but whatever). also, i'm going to stop now before this gets out of hand.

gd's unease with the idol-vs-musician dichotomy. i find it pretty dumb that yg (or someone else?) feels the need to proclaim big bang as musicians instead of idols. i know gd used to be bothered by that quite a lot and i love this simple line: “No one liked us,” he mumbles into Seunghyun’s shirt, “and when they did they said I copied the song.” - hurts because it's true.
by 'last song', were you talking about Make Love? if so, i might have to kick you in your figurative nuts for being extra awesome and noticing this gem. i was convinced i was alone in my hardcore stanning for Make Love, haha. hated the Japanese version btw :S

yeah, i have such mixed feelings on the way yg promotes the group by doing that :/, but i think for the group and gdybtop in particular it's such an interesting thing to think about.
i was! i love it too, but i'm kind of biased since it was one of the first songs i heard. i love every single version, haha.
