yesterday was awesome. my family met up w/ the kehls at out usual spot on Preston to watch the parade. it rained,but felt so nice! there were so many cute floats, and we got tons of candy. then we all headed to Goar park for free snow cones, popcorn, etc it was nuts (i think over half of thepark cities showed up). afterwards we headed to my house ( Read more... )

oh man. i watched part of it on television today and have been in a sad, strange fog for hours.

i hate false patriotism. but this is one of those movies that really makes me think. and feel pure gratitude and respect for people who have given their lives for hundreds of thousands of strangers.
