... of my kink.

I was away for work for most of the last month and one night I found myself thinking about why I enjoy kink, and more specifically, why I enjoy the subbie side of kink.

I've been kind of down on kink generally for a while compared to my earlier enthusiasm (which probably explains why I've not been posting all that much.)  Additionally ( Read more... )

This just came together for me. I suppose I had been dancing around it for a while but I feel like pretty much all of my kink is somehow related to at least one of these pillars.

A refreshing and kinkified change from the Seven Pillars of Islam (bless their cotton hijabs.)

The erotic psychology of kink is continuall fascinating, aint it? And just as much so when theoretical as well as practical.

really interesting blog. from the other side of the slash, i can say that a lot of us especially appreciate the strength and vulnerability when it's offered.

Thanks for visiting. I've not been posting as much as I used to, but I'm still thinking.

I can't imagine offering strength and vulnerability to someone who wouldn't appreciate it.

the important part of my statement (well, to me at least) was 'when' those things are offered... heh. it's actually somewhat rare that *i personally* have experienced both at the same time. i've gotten to play a fair amount. but i can count on one hand the number of people who have offered me that kind of experience.

I am capable of playing but not really opening up and offering that level of focus. It is still enjoyable but it is VERY different. (It's also less tiring in a sense.)
