you're thinking of the northern african countries. johannesburg is in south africa. bees there are richer than their more northern counterparts. also, these bees lived in an electrical substation, which implies an intimate knowledge of science and technology. likely, they could fabricate their own laser systems.
egypt isnt poor bitch! south africa is as shitty as it comes, and electrical substations ..if you live inside one you are stupid and poor.those bees need to get a job and stop exploiting the citiys resources.
the gdp of egypt in 2003 was 101.3 billion, the gdp of south africa in the same year was 138.66 billion. additionally egypt currently(2004) has 77,505,756 people while south africa(also 2004) has only 44,344,136. that puts egypt at about $1304 per person per year and south africa at about $3127 per person per year. while these are statistics about people, it is only logical that they would extrapolate to bee economics also. Therefore, south african bees are proabably rich enough to either afford education that allows them to build laser guidance systems or rich enough to buy these systems from companies like honeywell or lockheed martin. Also, it is a well known fact that due to the population explosion in africa, realestate is at a premium, forcing many to find alternative forms of shelter, including electrical sub-stations. while we, as a western society, may condemn such practices, in africa it is seen as a workable solution to an epedemic problem. sometimes you just gotta live in an electric box doug.
while i agree that flying killer horses would be very frightening, I have to question your logic of punching 10 million bees in their faces. even a trained martial arts master would have difficulty with such a task.
