I just did a random FTM survey, and was asked to count up the folks in my life who are supportive of my gender, and of my use of testosterone to alter my body. It was really weird to think of it quantatively like that, cuz when push comes to shove there are over 50 people in my life who have said "awesome good for you good luck with that!" to me ( Read more... )

wow, that does sound pretty lucky/good to me :)

although it kind of sucks re: the genderqueer stuff.

hey merry merry christmas!! i'm so heartened and pleased that most everyone has been at least eventually mellow about your transitioning...yay yay yay!

what is your definition of genderqueer/what does it mean to you? i was sorta trying to explain it to my dad over christmas...but it's not an idea he quite understands though i'm proud that a texas born pastor's son is open to talking about it!

we should hang out sometime! we were thinking of having a picnic at the getty sometime soon, and we were also thinking of trying to have a monthly art/writing thing...(i like elipses)
