Oh LJ. flusteredspeech said hello a bit ago and got me in the mood to as well! Life has been crazy to say the least. This seems to be my busiest school year by far, that has had ups and downs as usual. The fact that it's March in a blink is unbelievable. 2011 Christmas
So it's Christmas morning... er... afternoon now, and I'm sitting alone in a house that I'm watching over the holidays for a coworker. Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this picture? One more week baby, then Christmas break!
Tuesday night I was struck down by this pretty nasty fluish thing... was out of school Wednesday and Thursday. It's always a pain because making sub plans takes FOOOOOREVER. Starving for Livejournal... miss the way I can just unload to the void here. It's been over 3 months, so this should pack a punch.
Since August, I am obviously well into the school year... just finished my first Trimester in 4th grade. Have finally found my sweet spot! This age group is phenomenal, and as a teacher I'm able to do so much more ( Read more... ) -

Absence makes this heart grow fonder for Live Journal.
As usual, in a blink my summer is drawing to a close. It was a good one to be sure, with some interesting twists and turns. Allergies attempted to ruin my life, saw Mary Poppins on Broadway, got really sick in Wenatchee, made friend from Germany, and saw Adele live. The new school year is ( Read more... ) -

FINALLY. We have a sunny day breeching here in the good ol Pacific Northwest. Hopefully it remains throughout the week. Looking forward to a short one. Teaching Monday-Wednesday, then attending a writing conference on Thursday, and no school for Good Friday. Loves it.
