Please read: my addiction story and more

Welllll, it has been a LONG time since I posted in here. I've made a lot of changes in my life recently, and one of the promises I made myself is that I would reach out to people I have put at a foot-ball field's length. I know that maybe not a lot of people are left on my friend's list, and that's OK. Let me give you an update.

I think it is brave to admit that you have done terrible things, because so few people do it. I wish I would see more politicians say "you know, I was just wrong." But it liberates me to tell the truth. I've wanted to go on LJ and tell my story for awhile, but not until I had really gotten up, FINALLY, off my ass and got started on the final leg of my recovery. Final leg! Weight watchers, NA, and benzo withdrawal. That's a big one.

I can't imagine how hard it must be to face all of this. Your children will be so incredibly grateful that you are coming back to them, and they will absolutely benefit from your bravery and strength. Good luck, and I know everything will keep getting better.

My kids already can see and have responded so well, and that's all the positive feedback I'll ever need :) Thank you for reading, I know it wasn't pretty...but the truth shall set you free. And that IS the truth!
