Back when I was doing Honours the Japanese language classes overflowed to the lecture rooms in the physics department. Because of scheduling we ended up having a compulsory 9am quantum mechanics lecture followed by a compulsory 11am electrodynamics lecture. During the 10am break there was a Beginning Japanese lecture. Accidentally caught in the first one, we stayed (maybe because it was almost entirely female, but generally because we were already pretty loopy [honours starts much earlier than undergraduate studies and is slightly more intense]).
