Weather commentary: it's been so cold here that tomorrow's forecast looks "nice" for a change, meaning it will get up to about -8C. We have gotten 60" of snow so far this winter. Fortunately, it's much easier to warm up in the winter (put on three sweaters and long johns) than it is to cool off in a sweltering heat wave.

Having your writing muse back is good, no matter what the subject, I would think. And hooray for the feeling that things are looking up!

So glad you checked in! Keep concentrating on Not Melting. If I could box up and send some of the freakishly cold tempturatures we've been having, I totally would.

Supernatural! I just started watching this a couple months ago. You're right, it's not exactly good tv, but kinda pretty awesome all the same. And it's fantastic that you're writing it. It doesn't matter what you're writing, as long as you are. That series has got to be ridiculously fun to fic about with. So good on you!

I know we don't really know each other that much, aside from my blatant awe of your writing and your AMVs, but I have kind of been following how you're doing and hoping that things would take a turn in your favor, and this whole post is something with which I completely identify. Except for the heat. We are the opposite. We are buried in snow and I am freezing to death all of the time

Hmm, I haven't seen a Dark Cadbury bar, but I'm pretty taken with the brand I'm getting even so! On my weight, I more fret that I'm unfit more than trying to lose weight in any real capacity, and I already drink a lot of water, especially now. Got that part covered! I was concerned enough that when I'm depressed I run straight for comfort food so was downing a chocolate bar or two a day and definitely way too much milk, and I've carved those right down to acceptable levels, and that's good enough for me. I ...should probably hvae takeout less often, too, but when we've just broken a record for how many days in our summer exceed 40C, I'm content to leave that to a time where going into the kitchen won't melt my brain
