Weather's kinda nuts.

Our weeks long heat wave broke with 75mm of rain.

We just went from searing to flooding. Really, though, the results are quite pretty.

Wow; that's impressive. So, do people then canoe out amongst the trees, or is that not so much a thing?

Sadly not a thing. The water was half as high later on in the day and by now it's gone completely, for which I feel a little mournful. But it certainly wasn't healthy water to go splashing around in, given the smell. (Storm drains are close by, so who knows what sort of lovely things got dredged up and pushed about by the rains.)

Heat wave, I don't envy you! I'm sure I will, though, when it's summer here and I'm melting. :)
