The trip to IASA had been...well, John had left frustrated and annoyed but constantly being recognized as a Crichton and getting asked every other minute about his dad got a little trying after awhile. Their schedules hadn't been meshing well between school, work, wives and kids but they finally found a few open days and were taking advantage of them. John had an interview today. It wasn't much, just some low level paper pushing job at the local IASA site but it was a foot in the door and that's what John needed right now. It was John's last day in the office so he was packing up. He kept finding Talyn's toys in odd places and it only made him smile. If anything, John could play it off as bringing Talyn a gift. The end of the semester was fast approaching and John was already making plans to head back to Cambridge when the time came. When John walked into his office, he was singing under his breath and didn't even know it. When he sat down and started pulling out paperwork and booting up his computer, the singing had gotten progressively louder. And all that singing finally came out in a rather loud exclamation of:
