apparently when a black person takes something from a store it's 'looting' but to a white person it's "finding" a friend of mine was nice enough to point it out

you'll have to scroll down a bit.

Exactly! Black men cannot even carry a trash bag full of iPods through floodwaters without being given a suspicious eye. What is this nation coming to?

I can't help but point out the glaringly obvious media bias towards showing black people trudging through the muck and swamp and floatsam.

uhh duh, david. have you ever been to the south? everyone is black.

You're not making some sort of awful generalization about the South are you?

NO! i'm just telling the truth. well, okay maybe i am making an awful generalization. BUT STILL! even if it is an awful generalization it's still the truth. my brother lives in memphis, so i'm like, an expert. don't doubt this knowledge, bitch.

ergot isn't a disease, it's a fungus that grows on rye grain.

Yes. I know. I did say agricultural threats...and secondarily just because it doesn't affect your species doesn't make it a disease. Speciesist!

Also, is this Jeff?

P.S. Did you hear about when they started evacuating the superdome, and then stopped like halfway through?

"Uh, Colonel, there seems to be only negroes here."

"Shit, let's go home."

Although it is funny how this is a blessing to the media...it really isnt to us. This is more than raising gas prices. This is our economy shoved further into the hole. Already in debt over the war...and now this. All homes and buildings and freeways and everything...destroyed. Survivors will move this way. It's like day four or five and people are doing one of a few things: standing there in the rain starving to death, killing themselves, or finding a place to huddle where they can then starve to death...or kill themselves. This is fucking sad.

i probably dont have any place in saying this to you, however, david never said the actual act or results (other than the obnoxious media attention) of the hurricane werent serious. sooo lay off the "hey guys this is sad! stop your life immediatly because you might be mocking something related to it" act. we all know whats going on. thanks.
