I told Mike that I got employee of the month at work today & he screamed "YES!!!" like I'd just told him that he won $1,000.

I move to LA in 4 days! Holy shit.

a patient spit applesauce all over my hair & face tonight & threw a pillow at me. i thought it was kind of funny. my preceptor, john, was horrified.

you guys. i got my first nursing paycheck today. i couldn't stop smiling when i opened it up at work & then again after work when the guy at the bank gave me cash to buy my phone. just this big goofy grin. this is my first paycheck in a year. i smelled mexican food when i walked out of the bank & i thought, "i can totally afford to buy a burrito ( Read more... )

i made a deeeeelishin dinner tonight (tofu, black bean, corn & hot sauce scramble on pita bread), had a good day today. exchanged fiestaware that mom bought me, got a bathing suit top, did laundry, studied, took a nap, ran, studied some more. things are good.
