I have another job lined up! It's a temporary contract but could become permanent, since they'll be recruiting for a permanent worker shortly and if I do well then I'll have an insider advantage if I apply for it myself. ^_^ It's at the UEA still, this time at the Library office where I'll be doing - as well as the usual fare of office work like ( Read more... )

It's been awhile since I posted, and the reason's been very simple: I'd lacked the motivation to do it. I was, for a time, consumed by the all-encompassing desire to find paid employment and, as a result of it, hopefully start an actual life that has not been handed to me by someone's parents.

Moving right along in the settlement department. I now have a bank account, a regular doctor and dentist, and am pretty well settled in, now all I need is a job to go with it and it's all good.
