Hey munchkin1616--I just wanted to say thank you. When I was first considering grad school (late 2006? early-mid 2007?) and I found the applyingtograd community, I believe you were one of the people who offered me hope concerining my grad school ambitions despite my non-traditional scholastic background.

Well, I got into an M.A. program that application cycle (accepted at two out of three schools, actually!), and now I'm applying to Ph.D.s. Thanks for giving such helpful support and encouragement to a stranger. You really practice what you preach.
