Seems like all the action is happening at GradCafe.

I tried check the GradCafe thread about Admissions (http://forum.thegradcafe.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=14212) but couldn't bring myself to look through all 21 pages. Anyone know what page people started talking about actual decisions?

EDIT: Nevermind, I realized that I should have been looking at the results area rather than that thread.

Hum, among the places I applied seems like some people have already heard from Boston University, UCSB, and University Of Wisconsin - Madison.

No one is posting results at gradcafe about my schools... so I don't have any idea. I think I'm the only person on there that applied to U. Iowa and Delaware for history, and UNCG and USouth Carolina for Public History. There are a few for OSU though.

I applied at Iowa in 07 for a history M.A. and was waitlisted. I never found out if I made it off the list or not because I had to accept a funding offer from another university. I'm applying there again for a Ph.D.

In 07 they notified REALLY LATE - like at the end of March. We'll see...

Oh great! I hope I hear something! They're my first choice, and I really do not want to wait until late March to hear! It doesn't help that I haven't heard anything from anyone else yet either. Thanks for the info! What is your subfield?

Modern America. Are you applying for the M.A. or for a Ph.D.?

Haven't heard a peep from anywhere yet, but I'm just "checking in".

I applied to Toronto, Chicago, Michigan and Harvard (Modern Europe).
