Sometimes you just want to order from the kids menu. Without my consent I was honored with being the official food delivery boy for students and teachers alike of the dance studio for the annual picture day. So on my last of 3 treks to Friendly's that evening I decided to honor myself with a Conehead, which I feel is the ultimate in Friendly's ( Read more... )

Of course you may post it in your journal. Signs are sometimes hard to get if you have to take them off the pole and what not. But maybe you will get lucky like me and find one alreday taken down!

we use to steal signs and pylons all the time in university. but now that i'm a pseudo respectable tax paying citizen .. i am appalled at such outlandish behaviour young man. what if that poor deaf child got hit by a huge SUV barrelling down your neighbourhood street. you'd feel guilty then .. wouldn't ya? WOULDN'T YA! repent now before you burn in hell!!!

- a concerned canadian citizen

oh wait .. i don't pay taxes in your country .. ok its all fine then ... as you were ...

post script: did i ever tell you i LOVE reading your posts. its always nice to see ya pop up on my friends list. you need to post more often :D

Hahahaa, no I wouldn't feel guilty if the deaf child was hit by a speeding vehicle because at least now he has the confidence to go out into the street without some sign pointing out his ill abilities to hear. "Hey there is the deaf kid, better take caution around him." I know I wouldn't want people to change their driving habbits just because I may have a handicap.

But thanks, you have great posts too. Even if I am not posting I'm still checking my friend's list at least 2 times a day. Beware of comments mwahahaa....

What's wierd to me might be quite normal to the next person. Who decides what normal is anyway. But I don't feel stupid ordering from the kids menu. I might just want a smaller portion to make room for that free sundae that will inevitibly come with it. Why pay that extra money just because I am old enough to vote.

I remember taking a large Detour sign that I stole from a construction site in Cambridge, MA and brought it on the subway to my home in Everett, MA. People gave me really funny looks. By far my favorite is the Fasten Seat Belts sign that was on the side of the road, in some grass, that I carried home about 3 miles. Very fun to see yr discovery! And was the photographer of yr dance studio a woman named Marie? My Great Aunt is a dance photographer, and has been for her whole life...it would be funny if it was her!

Ohh a DETOUR sign would be a great collectors item. I have also been known to walk/travel long distance carrying those heavy pieces of metal. I get a hoot out of all the stares and me just acting like it's a normal occurrance for a person to be carrying a road sign. I don't think I have seen the Fasten Your Seat Belt ones, but they sound terrific.

Well there were 3 woman doing the pictures but I didn't catch any of thier names. They were all young looking though. How old is your aunt?

HAHA That's Great. A while ago we stole a street sign from a street in the village. We also stole hubcaps off the walls in a club not to mention 1 from the car parked outside. *Officer I took no part in the robbery of that particular hubcap* lol
I have yet to find my way to a wet floor cone.. although I have been tempted from MC.. but they have to many works lol

Maybe I'll just ask for one. I"m sure they have enough that they wouldn't miss 1. :)

Oh there is certainly enough Wet Floor signs to go around! I have 4 fold up ones, one of which is hot pink and my fovorite of the collection, but have not aquired a cone one and must do so now that you have brought it to my attention.
Hubcpas sound like a cool thing to start collecting. A wall of hubcaps would be pretty awesome now that I think of it, and there were would be a story to go with each one. Great idea!
