I'll simply say that terrorism of the form that recently occurred is hardly an act to truly scare the public. No matter how many die, the fear instilled in people, who are brave and kind and virtuous as a general nature, can never last long in ( Read more... )

Yeah. Pretty much so. Reminds me of a few people I knew back home.

They don't know who they want to wage war against.

They certainly don't make them like they used to. It's sad, really.

So. Abel. Darling. I trust you're coming?

I remember it being mentioned.

But I'm afraid I've been in a lingering bad mood, as of late. I don't feel like people around so many people. My apologies.

You don't fear the unknown?

The attack was meticulously planned and beautifully executed, and I doubt it will be the last of its kind. Having a name or a face to put to it would at least give us some idea of what direction to look towards - everything is a clue.

Whatever the case, who says that they were trying to scare us?

What would a priest have to fear in the unknown for?

The attack was poorly planned and dismally executed. This kind of thing is my job, so I speak from experience when I say that it was pointless scurrying and that it absolutely won't be happening again, if I have anything to say about it.

The fact that I do have a clue as to who it wasn't is proof enough of its utter lack of real success.

Whatever their goals, they fell far from the mark. People died, their lives lost, their minds lost.

But to give credit to cowards who aren't capable either of fearlessly claiming their own work or of acting intelligently enough to hide their tracks? I'm hardly overconfident, you know, just experienced.
