[Sounds of a yawn.] Sounds a bit boring.

Not always, there's a great deal of fun to be had at the suffering of others...just so long as we remember business comes first.

Business just makes it less fun...

To each they're own, I am seeking out a specialized type of crook.

Y'know, I like where you're going with this, but you're never gonna attract the younger generation that way. The only thing you're offering them that's remarkably appreciable is weapons, and any two bit hood can find a power-up lying around. Heck, any REAL villain doesn't fear the other side of the fence. We make it quake with our presence!

Now, us older villains, we can appreciate the need for training, comraderie, and all the gains of a twisting and warping of that wussy little thing they call friendship. But the new guys? They need the material stuff.

I recommend a nice token gesture. Offer punch and pie, maybe a free hat.

I do value your opinion, a mastermind of your experience is much less...out of touch with the youth.

Unfortunately I do have a reputation to maintain...one that would not benefit from the gesture of punch and pie...perhaps there is a compromise?

Heh, I'm sure you get my point though.

Sorry, kiddos, the adults are talking here.

[Locked to Slade]

Something a little more tangible than weaponry is what you're looking for. A sizeable cash offering (With an abhorently restrictive contract that they'll never read) is always a good start. I've snared more than a few of my current menagerie with that.

Other than that, you may have to take a hit to your reputation in the short term to earn the long term payout. Why, just a few years ago I made a cameo in a dancing game to steal MUSIC! Hardly befitting of a king of my stature!

Of course, I don't quite see what's wrong with your prior MO. A good kidnapping and brainwashing always makes for a good lieutenant. At least until the inevitable heel->face restoration.

Either way, it's going to require proactivity.

I suppose so, the youth is so hard to appeal to these days that upon return to our own world I found myself tempted to simply retire, I am using the digital world as a sort of vacation where I may attempt some pet projects such as this.

I also had a small amount of concern the other villains would think I was trying to usurp their organizations with this...not at all my plan.

Weapons I do not need for I am already a walking weapon of mass destruction.

I have no need for training as I am already a one gynoid army.

Allies would be useful, but having to put the effort into training a bunch neonatal punks into a state at which they would be useful is not.

Keep making offers Mr. Slade, eventually you'll hit something I want.

The offer is what it is, if you only wish for allies then that is all you'll gain from this offer, unless you'd rather gather together like minded people on you're own.

I could very easily, but why should I waste my energy when someone else is doing it for me.

What I want to know is what you really intend to do with us once you got us assembled. Wealth and power is great, but I know your reputation. What do you plan to do with us?

My plans are my own, however the furthering of the personal goals of each member of the team will play a large part in our dynamic.

I'm recruiting for a team of younger people with interests in destruction, greed and the other sins.

I'm fishing to see who's interested.

Very well.

If you are interested, seek out a worthy adversary or task and demonstrate your abilities. I'll be watching.
