Yes, I have listened to it a lot. It's all gospel songs and it is amazing. Only 2 Patty Griffin originals, I think. Of course, those are my favourites.
Oh, that's funny! I thought it was Patty Larkin, not Griffin. Either would be great - both would be better.
I'm much more familiar with Larkin (who has a new album out last week), but I *have* seen P. Griffin -- she was on tour a few years ago with Dar Williams, Shawn Colvin, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Of the four, she was the one I knew the least, but it was a great show. I've gotten to know a bit more of her music in the last year or so, but still not much. I'll have to try some more.
(Do you know Patty Larkin at all? I dearly love a few of her albums from the 90s, Tango and Angels Running, but haven't kept up with her as much lately. Stylistically pretty different from Griffin, but in a compatible-tastes sort of way.)
