Yeah, you guys definitely misunderstood him. By "do anything" he meant go on dates, hang out with or otherwise assoicate with the opposite sex. No need for verbal attacks here.

Also, before judging someone, you might want to get to know them first. He's my good friend and I don't appreciate the way you jumped all over him. As a fellow Christian, I am embarrassed at the way you treated him. That is all.
