After. I think it is more recent. I have been wanting to read it. I read Lisey's Story last year around this time, and I think Duma Key came out around this time last year too.

Lisey's Story is good IMO, but still very much more self reflective than say Christine or the Stand.

I just picked up Lisey's story from the library on audiobook. It looks like an interesting premise.

It really depends on the person and largely on the location. I've known several people to who are fond of old or unusual sayings. Heck, I'm one of them myself. And "muchacho" is certainly common enough in California. Given Wireman's history with his wife, it actually makes a lot of sense that he interlaced spanish with his English so much.

Which, come to think of it, is something else I have done after dating a Latina for many years in my youth. Not so much anymore though.

That's my opinion, anyhoo. :)

I picked up Lisey's Story and one called The Gingerbread Girl today at the library. I think the 2nd one was audiobook only. Do you have an opinion on Lisey's Story?
