Yesterday we headed up to Cleveland to celebrate the Fourth of July. I won my court case against my former boss. We had orginally filed against her personally but the judge continued the case to add the business, but since she didn't show today we won a judgement against her personally and the business ( Read more... )

Well Jims had his new job for two weeks now. This Sunday we're going house hunting, and i think one way or another we're going to put an offer in on a house afterward. Jims off for his first day of work! The first alarm clock either didn't go off or wasn't loud enought (set for 5am) but the second won (set for 6am) did go off. I went to file small claims court today agaist my boss who owes me two paychecks. The good news is that if i win i can be awarded intrest at the rate of 10% which is way better then i could get at a bank. The court date is set for May 5th at 3:30.
