2009: the year in review

Metro, opens doors.... only when underground
The snow storm has not reopened any talks about building the pending line to Dulles International Airport underground. It's a shame really. All above ground service has been halted and WMATA plans to soldier on knowing this will be a problem in the future as well ( Read more... ) -
Day Off: part 1
On my first day off:
Spent some time organizing the garage.
Oil change.
30 minute bike ride to buy an oil filter for aforementioned oil change.
Complete oil change.
Make a spam and cheese toasted sandwich.
Go to Costco for eneloop batteries which were out of stock.
Go to the hardware store and bought Gorilla glue.
Glued my Utility stand. -
Update to "Hooray for accomplishments"
In addition to bringing cans of food, my coworkers raised $270 to help feed the hungry. With these funds, my coworker and I spent a couple hours at Costco buying food for others Saturday morning.
God, thank you for allowing me this simple honor. -
Hooray for accomplishments
Following a stressing month, I decided to declutter the house a bit. The result is I'm now able to see 30% more of my wood veneer finish on my desk. Furthermore, my file cabinet is now empty and ready to be given to it's new owner.
