All is well in the land of the Scots. I'm learning that things aren't that different anywhere you go. The people here are not that much different than what i'm used to and I can always find someone to talk to and enjoy. I got the grant for my summer research project! yay!

So this weekend was definitely just what I needed. Rachel, kathryn and I headed up to Fort William, the "outdoor playground of the UK". when we had called to reserve a hostel on Thursday, the man working the front desk hit on us. we knew it was going to a be a promising weekend when he told us about this film festival Fort William was having. Things have gotten much better here. It's settled down and I've settled in. My body is hating me, though, as it is not used to the going out that I have been putting it through lately.
