Guess what, kids? The computer is broken - again!

Turns out it wasn't the hard drive, but it's beginning to look like the motherboard (more specifically, the southbridge chipset) that's gone haywire.

Hey, I never said I was good at fixing these things. Here's hoping it doesn't take another month to get a replacement!

Today, I was in spanish class, having a debate about the death penalty. When I went to make a point, I meant to say "La pena de muerte", which means "The death penalty". I said, "La pene de muerte". Turns out that means, "The penis of death". FML

Hi kids. I'm still alive. Work is just a little bit too busy right now.

I had my 6 (or 7) week review today and apparently I got a very high rating. So, needless to say I'm grateful that I have the respect of my co-workers and I'm glad that I'm just as much of a team-member as they are.

So I finally got my new hard drive. They gave me a free upgrade; from a 640GB SATAII to a 750GB SATAII Black Edition drive that's worth nearly 100 dollars.

I'm not complaining.

I'm also starting my Windows 7 project...

I think RickRolling an entire restaurant counts somewhere in the realm of....epic win.

That hard drive just died. There goes 6 months of work. Luckily I was able to back up most of it.

So, my servers (Ventrilo, WoW, FTP, everything) are gone until I can revive it. Somehow.

Thank god for warranties.

For the next six months of my life, I will be learning more about IT than ever before, making a shitton of money, and having a grand 'ol time while doing it.
