FALL SEMESTER 2007

So, I'm taking a basic Astronomy class this semester...

On day one, the professor gives out a questionaire (not a quiz) to the class. A simple request: "Name all the planets you can think of." Days later the results came in...  and at least 80% of the class could not name more than 3 or 4. (Also, the Moon is not a planet. It's a ( Read more... )

Note the questionaire said "Name all the planets you can think of." It doesn't say anything about them having to be real.... Coruscant, Dagobah, Draenor, Earth, Hoth, Jupiter, Korugar, Krypton, Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Oa, Pluto, Sakaar, Saturn, Tatooine, Uranus, Venus, etc.

You forgot Omicron Perseii VIII !!!!

Nope, it's now a dwarf planetoid. The UAC or whatever they're called removed Pluto's status as a planet earlier this year.
