Over the summer, I've been kinda-using paces for 3 marathon goal times for my workouts: 3:40, 3:30 and 3:20, kinda picking the one with the easiest run-math with which to do my quality workouts. Happy belated birthday!

I have also been toying with the same idea about trying to qualify for NYC at 3M. At this point, I'm not at all confident in my ability to do that, and I am treating it as a huge pipe dream (I would need 1:23, which seems completely ridiculous to me). We'll see how the rest of this year training on my own works out. Decker will likely be a good reference point this time.
