3.  So many people have been so effusive about Joseph's performance that I can't help but think my impression that he had done a spectacular job was correct.

I'm pausing to remember those who died on September 11, 2001. I also remember that they died because we are a land of the free, and those freedoms include the right to freely exercise whatever religion you chose to worship. Religious intolerance is contrary to everything America should stand for.  

 Random memories of OVFF in no particular order:

1.  Seeing some wicked cartoon drawings by Adam English.  His caricature of Toyboat was just perfect.

2.  Toyboat's Leslie-Fish-meets-Georgia-Satellites version of Banned from Argo was a serious hoot.

 This week  had a continuing education video in Michigan City.  During a break, I went to grab coffee and a snack from a nearby coffee shop.

They were selling chocolate croissants.  I wanted one, but I had a little trouble identifying the pastries.  They were square.

If this isn't found filk, I don't know what would be.

 SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - Authorities said a couple got into a fight using Cheetos. The Bedford County Sheriff's Department said a 40-year-old man and 44-year-old woman became involved in a 'verbal altercation.' Somehow, the orange puffy snacks were used in the assault.
Deputies said they were charged with domestic assault. No one was hurt.
