I groaned softly as Cordelia and Wesley walked into his office. How awkward was that? He couldn't even look at me. Nice. And we're supposed to work together and he can't even stand the sight of me. Great, just great. I felt like absolute shit. I'd thought what I was doing, going to England, being with him, had been the right thing. I really thought

"The two of you can leave." The man in the lead said in a british accent, gesturing towards Fred and I. "Our quarrel is with the vampire and the traitor."
"Yeah right." I retorted, placing the crossbow I had grabbed in Fred's hands. I didn't know if she knew how to use it, but it wasn't going to be doing me any good with the sanctuary spell in place. Haven't any more time to think on it though, because a bunch of heavies come crashing through the door. I wonder if Cordy's anti-fight magic will stick. If not, then I get to pound a few heads.
"Awwh, sounds like someone's interested in you and me, Percy. It's our lucky night, innit? They might as well have 'Council thug' branded on their foreheads."
I keep my fighting stance. No need to let them know they can't use violence in here just yet.

"Yes, just been a wonderful evening so far. Really could use a spot of violence to finish things up." Leaving my shotgun slung over my shoulder I walked towards the Council wankers, causing them to tense up and yell "Freeze Pryce!"
"Bugger off boys. You want the vampire and I? Fine, lets take this outside."
Walking past them they seemed unsure what to do. Once Spike was outside we would at least have somewhat more even odds. "Well then? I don't have eternity to wait gents."

I watched as men crossed their weapons in front of Wesley before he reached the door, "I don't think so Pryce." They shoved him back into the room and gave him a nasty look, "Like we'd let you and the vampire stroll outside where you could run off. I don't think so." Well, they either didn't know about the spell or they didn't and didn't want us to know.
Now what were we supposed to do? Either Wes and Spike had to go with them, or...or nothing, that was the only option right now. That sucked.
