Dude, you're right. That book was so deep. It was like an ocean, man.

Imagine my surprise in finding you capable of reading.

Dude, what are you talking about? I'm totally reading right now.

Skimming these pages for opportunities to insert your free love nonsense and exceptionally bad poetry scarcely counts as reading.

And why is this private?

The feeling would be mutual, were your achievements quantifiable in the multiple. Unfortunately you only made one paltry attempt to produce anything, before being distracted by something that I can only imagine was inordinately shiny.

You should thank me for being willing to transform your single pitiful endeavor into something worthwhile.

Many would argue that my films are already classics, but modesty forbids me from making such claims personally. I'll let time prove the matter first.

Whereas I'm quite confident that henceforth, and like so many projects of its kind, Ribbon will only be remembered as a film. Only precious few will be bothered to learn the trivial matter that it was originally based on a work of fiction.

Ah. So she's spoken to you, then. I'm certainly not surprised -- I suppose I left her with more than a few choice words on her mind. My animosity towards the woman is entirely controlled as long as she keeps her paws off what I consider my extremely time-consuming labor. Which is not all too much to ask for, in my modest opinion. As you say: there are so few of us.

Not too much to ask for, except that Kuhl has something of a... volatile personality. When attacked, she is prone to counteraction.

Diplomacy, in this situation, would be far more tactical than aggressive territorialism.

I don't expect this to be more than I can handle.

Understood.

I wash my hands of the matter.

Oh!

Indoor or outdoor shooting? Are the sets open for public viewing?

Reply

wickedlywest March 5 2008, 05:51:52 UTC
We will have a soundstage space, but a good portion will be done on location in various venues across the city. Predominantly indoors during the weather, but select outdoor shots should the schedule permit.

The sets are closed, but should you be interested in the film, I may be swayed to invite you on set for a brief visit.

Oh! Seriously? To be honest, I'm actually more fascinated with the set itself than, say, any big name stars or anything. I like seeing how everything works behind the scenes, particularly with the costuming departments for different productions.

Would you be available for a costumes internship, were one to become available on the project?
