sickness & stupidity
K and k2 are sick so I stayed home yesterday to get thrown up on. k2 had a high fever and layed around a a lot. When the meds finally did kick in, it was nice to see him up and around like normal but inevitably they retreated and he was miserable again. K was miserable with and without meds. struggles
The 2nd toilet in the bathroom isn't going in as easy as the first one downstairs. I keep popping the bolts out of the ring when tightening them. So we need a new wax ring because after pulling the toilet up bent over while K fiddles with the bolts must have screwed up the ring and will most likely leak pee water when hooked back up, I'm not ( Read more... ) -
I think she's playing an April Fools joke on me
K has been acting in a way I can't call normal for her but maybe normal for most others. She has been in a good mood today. Yesterday too. I helped her with the bathroom project which entailed cutting wood bead board for her and spent 45 minutes trying to get one section to fit. She thanked me. I had dreams this morning that like most of them the circumstances faded so I'm just left with empty emotions. Except one. The last dream was me sitting in a classroom setting but a group of us were in a line but I was facing them. Farthest away was a long haired brunette girl whose face is fading as I try to recall her. racially insensitive emails from within the family
So my wife's older Uncle who is now computer savy has been mailing internet jokes to the family. Pics and stuff but a lot of the stuff is xrated and sent to a subset of the list but most have been ignored by my wife. He finally emailed one that my wife had to open because the subject read 'Chinese Eye Exam'. It is making fun of the almond eyes ( Read more... ) -
change of plans
No date for me. A concert for k and a sick mom-in-law/babysitter squashed that. So this weekend we head to the flower show en mass. Yes they want to charge $13 for a 2 year old. We'll see how fun it becomes strolling an active 2 year old through a flower show. One of the more disappointing aspects is that I won't be able to really take photos. -
back from FL
Vacation went fast and was OK. Not relaxing but not as bad as it could be. I had about 4 minutes of peace at Disney Village sitting outside a store in the shade waiting for my various family members to drain the bank account even further with useless Disney branded crap.
