Vacation is all I ever wanted
The end of this month we are heading to Florida to see the big rat. We are meeting K's sister's family there. Should be fun. The sis's husband is in the middle of working with a company that they are trying to buy out and he may or may not have a job because of it. it's huge, like bigger than what your thinking.
K did get my the Tamaron 200mm-500mm lens. Wow, it's big, fully extended with the hood it's almost the length of my arm. I'll take some test shots this weekend. My first impression though is that it's well made and doesn't feel cheesy like I've read about other brand lenses ( Read more... ) -
Roses delivered
The lavender(mostly pinkish) roses were delivered yesterday and she liked them. K woke up this morning with a bad headache so I left her alone. She's waiting on delivery today of my valentine's gift which I actually saw what it was by accident. 200mm-500mm Tamaron lens. It got half decent reviews and I stuck it in my blog months ago. I managed to keep it together long enough to get to an arranged offroading trip on Sunday. K gave me the normal attitude about being stupid and childish. VDAY again
I'm not liking Valentine's day. Not a bit. It's too forced, commercial and sweet for my tastes. Romance to me was all about bribes. Of course the personality plays key to all this. getting dirty
K's birthday passed and this was the first one I didn't get her something really nice. Just a bunch of small things but she didn't seem to mind. I tried to be good and listen more but we still have been getting snippy w/ each other. We backed off and tried again and were better.
