The functional manager (assignments guy) for AF nurses has been at MacDill for the past couple of days, and there was an informal dinner with him tonight at a place called Bonefish Grill. It gives me very odd dreams.

We went to a dinner dance at the Italian club on Friday night. The crowd tends a bit toward the retiree set, but there are some folks our age there, including my cousin and his wife, who we hung out with, so we had a good time. On my way to work is a Maytag place, with a huge inflatable Maytag Man on top, with his hand raised by his face to wave to all that pass by. Last evening, the balloon was fallen over, face first on top of the building, and with the hand in the position it's in, it looked like the Maytag Man was collapsed in despair. This amused me. So, lessee...last week was Tory's 16th birthday, and for her celebration she wanted to go to Magic Kingdom with a friend, so we all highed ourselves to the wallet-hooveringest place on earth for the day.
